This is a stacked radial bar chart. The bars include both the number for World Heritage sites in 2004 and in 2022. The radial movement of the bars is mostly an aesthetic choice as it does not make the data easier to read, but actually distorts the readability a bit, as the inner bars appear smaller than they are.
